Matthew got the news yesterday. His eyes are nearly perfect! I admit, I was really really worried about it. What if, what if, what if? The prospect of surgery again, or tests not yet imagined, was looming in my head and I couldn't shake my worry.
We will go to Oklahoma City one more time in a year, and if that appointment goes as well as we expect it to, he will not need to be followed by a specialist again. His eyes will need to be cared for just like everyone else. No glasses, no surgery, no what if.
Just.... relief.
